WELCOME TO THE 2021-2022 SEASON!
Date:     September 13, 2021
To:         PCIM Community
From:    Mike Adamek, PCIM Director of Hockey Operations
Re:        Welcome to the 2021-2022 Hockey Season!

The season is officially underway! Tier 2, Travel and Division 1 teams practices have begun and registration for Division 2 is looking great (D2 starts mid- October). Please work with your team managers to complete online forms and volunteer training this month. Below are a few updates and exciting things to watch for:

Coming this Fall
  • New ADM Model practices (10U /12U), coordinated by Jack Skille & coaching staff. Learn more about ADM here.
  • The PCIM Equipment Swap is back! September 25-26. Read more here.
  • Fall Parent Education Forum – date to be announced.
  • JANS Winter Welcome – Support PCIM and sell opportunity drawing tickets. Top selling PCIM teams will win $300 for a team event and top selling players will win up to $100 in Ice Miners merchandise credit!
Covid Update
PCIM will continue to follow the guidance of the Utah Department of Health and Summit County Health Department as well as abide by rules established by rinks. The PCIM Covid Committee strongly recommends players and coaches follow CDC and Utah Department of Health guidelines of wearing masks in crowded, indoor spaces where physical distancing is not possible, regardless of vaccination status (including locker rooms). Masks on the ice are optional at this time. PCIM’s full COVID-19 policy and other information is posted to our web site. Policies are subject to change and we will communicate any changes as quickly as possible. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience.

Learn More, Get Involved
We need your support to keep our organization and teams running smoothly. Please consider volunteering for your team or a PCIM committee. If you’re not sure where to start, sit in on a board meeting, talk to your team manager, or send an email to communications@pciceminers.org.

We look forward to an awesome season and can’t wait to get back on hometown ice this week!
