Select Team Tryouts
(There are NO tryouts for the Park City Ice Miners MiniMite - Bantam House/URL Teams. These tryouts are only for the Tournament Level Select Teams in the Squirt & PeeWee divisions)

The Park City Ice Miners would like to invite all players interested in playing for the PCIM Select Hockey Teams to the Select Pre-Tryout Practices and Select Team Tryouts.
Who:
All players interested in playing tournament level hockey in the following divisions during the 2010-2011 season:
Pee Wee (DOB 1998-1999)
Squirt (DOB 2000-2001)

Park City Ice Arena

When:
Pre-Tryout Practice #1     Sun   August   8^th    7:45AM to 9:45AM   (2 hours ice time)
Pre-Tryout Practice #2     Sun   August 22^nd   7:45AM to 9:45AM   (2 hours ice time)
Pre-Tryout Practice #3     Sun   August 29^th   7:45AM to 9:45AM   (2 hours ice time)
Pre-Tryout Practice #4     Wed Sept.      1^st   4:15PM to 6:15PM   (2 hours ice time)   ***CANCELLED***

Tryout #1 - PeeWee     Sun   Sept. 12^th       7:30AM to 8:30AM   (1 hour ice time)
Tryout #1 - Squirt         Sun   Sept. 12^th       8:45AM to 9:45AM   (1 hour ice time)
Tryout #2 - Squirt        Mon   Sept. 13^th       5:45PM to 7:15PM   (1 ½ hour ice time)
Tryout #2 - PeeWee    Mon   Sept. 13^th       7:30PM to 9:00PM (1 ½ hour ice time)

Cost:
Pre-Tryout Practices are $20 each (2 hours of ice time per practice)
Tryouts are $30 (includes both tryout #1 and #2)

The PeeWee and Squirt Select Team Programs are anticipated to look like:
#Players
The PeeWee and Squirt Select Teams are expected to have a maximum of (15) Skaters and (1 or 2) Goalies

Tournaments
6-7 Tournaments (1 in Park City). We are trying to schedule any travel on non-holiday weekends.

Practices
(2) Weeknight Practices
(1) Sunday Practice
Possible additional practices if ice time becomes available.

Cost
Registration Fee - $595 per player (includes all tournament fees). Registration Fee has not been confirmed and is subject to change.
Uniform Fee - $190 per player to include (1) Home Jersey w/socks, (1) Travel Jersey w/socks), (1) Team Jacket, PCIM Helmet Decals. Uniform Fee has not been confirmed and is subject to change.
Fundraising - Each player is expected to participate in team fundraising. There will be opportunities for additional player fundraising / volunteer work to offset costs of the Registration Fee and Uniform Fee.
Travel Expenses - Optional Charter Bus transportation will be available to tournaments. Anticipated cost is about $45 per weekend. We will make every attempt to book discounted group rates at tournaments.
