Jack Skille

Coach Skille joins the Ice Miners after an extensive professional hockey career, most recently playing for EC Red Bull Salzburg in the ICEHL league. He has previously played in the NHL for the Chicago Blackhawks, Florida Panthers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Colorado Avalanche, and the Vancouver Canucks. Coach Skille has competed in 700 professional games, not including playoffs, in his 14 seasons of professional hockey.

Originally from Madison, WI, in 2005 Coach Skille won the Gold Medal with the US NTDP U-18 World Championship team. After his senior year, he was selected 7th over-all by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. During his freshman year of college, Coach Skille was part of the 2006 University of Wisconsin Men’s National Championship team. In 2010 he was an injured reserve player for the Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup Championship team and received a ring from the organization. 

Coach Skille made Park City his off-season home a few years ago and has been active in the local hockey scene. He has co-hosted youth clinics and hockey programs in Park City and coached the PCIM 12U D1 team for part of the 2019-2020 season. He is also owner of Jack Skille Hockey Academy and co-host of The Jack Skille Show podcast.

Shannon Bennett
Shannon Bennett has over 30 years of combined on-ice experience as a competitive figure skater and coach. Prior to coaching she was a regional and sectional competitor as well as the Minnesota State Intermediate Ladies Champion. She is a Silver Medalist in Freestyle, Bronze Medalist in Figures and is a Level 4 Hockey Coach with USA Hockey, is PSA rated: RFS, CFS and Hockey Skating Level II. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing from the University of Utah. Her expertise is based on long-term athlete development with a focus on fundamental skill development while fostering the love of the sport. Shannon is the owner of Elevated Power Skating which holds power skating clinics throughout the year. 
Alec Schnitzler
Alec Schnitzler is originally from St. Louis, MO where he grew up playing AA and AAA hockey. In his final year of youth hockey, he was the starting goalie for his teams’ 2018 U18 National Championship. Alec attended the University of Missouri where he received his Bachelors in Business Administration and played for Mizzou’s ACHA team. HIs team won the league title in his Freshman and Senior seasons. Alec was a Team Captain and Treasurer in his final two years with the program.
Upon graduating Alec began coaching with his former program at the 18U level where he was an assistant coach for 3 years. Alec has over 20 years of hockey experience and has 10+ years of goaltender specific coaching. Alec has been a USA Hockey Certified Official for 8+ years as well.
