PCIM is a 501(c)3 charitable organization and is sponsored by the Youth Sports Alliance (YSA). The mission of the YSA is to support winter sports activities for youth in Summit and Wasatch counties, promoting good sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles through participation, education and competition.
The YSA introduces kids to sports and inspires them to keep moving throughout their lives. Founded in 2002 to foster the development of winter sport teams in Park City following the 2002 Olympic Games. A few years later, YSA added after-school programming which keeps kids active and off their screens, while also serving as a pipeline to winter sport clubs and competition. In 2014, YSA established the Stein Eriksen YSA Opportunity Endowment, a $2 million need-based scholarship fund for competitive athletes. Check out their web site to learn more.
