The Park City Ice Miners are excited to announce the addition of Jack Skille to our coaching staff for the 2025-2026 season. Coach Jack will serve as our 12U Travel A coach, along with Mike Adamek. In addition, Coach Jack will provide guidance on-ice with our 14U coaches and players.
Jack played 368 NHL games for the Canucks, Avalanche, Panthers, Blackhawks, and Blue Jackets and played another 4 seasons in Europe after his NHL career. Jack was the 7th overall draft pick in the 2005 NHL draft out of the University of Wisconsin. In addition to his wonderful playing career, Jack has been coaching youth hockey for five years and is the owner of Jack Skille Hockey Academy.
We are very excited for Jack to be back in Park City! Hockey Director Mike Adamek, said, "I'm ecstatic to be able to work with Jack again. He is the best practice designer and executioner I've ever seen, and I know our coaches, especially our young head coaches, are pumped to be able to learn from Jack. Our players and coaches in Park City are fortunate to have Jack and his expertise in the program."
