Park City Ice Miners Mission

The Park City Ice Miners (PCIM) is dedicated to providing a positive learning experience as we challenge our players to grow in every aspect of the game. It is our goal to develop character, sportsmanship in all players, coaches and parents, and physical fitness among youth in the northern Utah area; promote, encourage, and improve the standard of amateur ice hockey; associate with other ice hockey associations; expand the game of hockey on the Wasatch Back through public awareness and development of as many youth as possible; and to perform or participate in other activities that will aid in reaching these objectives.

Additionally, PCIM provides programs consistent with those allowed by the Utah Amateur Hockey Association (UAHA). PCIM offers 3 levels of play:

  • Tier 2 (AA)

  • Utah Travel League (UTL)

  • Wasatch Recreation Hockey League (WRHL)

    • Division 1 (intermediate players)

    • Division 2 (beginner to intermediate players)

Financial Assistance Applications

Financial assistance applications for both PCIM and UAHA have been posted to the Documents section of our website. The deadline to submit applications for both PCIM and UAHA is October 31, 2024. 

JWW Opportunity Drawing Sales Competition

PCIM Opportunity Drawing Ticket Sales Challenge 2K24

The PCIM Opportunity Drawing Sales Competition is on! Those who purchase tickets to the Jans Winter Welcome Opportunity Drawing are entered for a chance to win an amazing trip to Belize. Opportunity drawing tickets are $50 each and are tax deductible. We ask that all players sell at least 2 tickets each. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, neighbors, and coworkers are great contacts for your player to start selling to. 100% of the ticket sale proceeds go directly back to the Park City Ice Miners to help fund our program and scholarships. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and is so important to our organization. To add a little fun and incentive to this fundraising event, we are offering the following prizes to our players and teams: 

*The Dream Team Prize*

The PCIM team that sells the most Opportunity Drawing tickets will win $300 for a team event of their choice PLUS one member of the team will get the chance to pie the Hockey Director's face. Minimum of 25 tickets sold to qualify to win. If there is a tie, the winning team will be selected randomly from among all eligible teams to win the $300 plus pie-in-the-face.

*The Blueliner Prize*

The PCIM player who sells the most Opportunity Drawing tickets will win 4 tickets to a Utah Hockey Club Game plus a free one-hour online advising session with Mike Pilon of Endeavour Sports Group (https://endeavoursportsgroup.com). If there is a tie, the winning player will be selected randomly from among all eligible players to win the game tickets plus the advising session. UT Hockey Club game TBD.

*Top Shelf Prize*

The 2nd and 3rd place PCIM players who sell the most Opportunity Drawing tickets will win a $75 and a $50 credit, respectively, for PCIM merchandise.

*Sharpshooter Prize*

If an individual player sells 6 or more tickets, they will receive a $50 gift certificate to a hockey shop (Cottonwood, Pure Hockey, etc.).  

The ticket sales competition will run through October 25, 2024.

Hockey Equipment Swap

The Park City Ice Miners are hosting a hockey equipment swap on September 14-15, 2024 at the Park City Ice Arena.  This is a great opportunity to outfit your growing player at a reasonable cost and/or clear out old gear that your player has grown out of.  A list of frequently asked questions regarding the swap can be found on the front page of our website. 

2024-2025 House Team Registration Open

Registration for the  2024-2025 season 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U House Teams (formerly known as D2) is now open! The registration link can be found on our website under "Registration" and will be open until the season begins in mid-October. 

2024 Summer Ice Registration

Registration is now open for our 2024 summer ice program.  The summer ice program runs from June 11 - August 15 at the Park City Ice Arena. Players are split into 3 groups based on birth year (A = 2006-2011, B= 2012-2013, C= 2014-2017) and each group will have 18 skates throughout the summer. Skates will consist of skills and scrimmages and will be run by Park City Ice Miners coaches. 

Space is limited to 40 players/goalies per group, so be sure to register early to secure your spot. The registration link can be found under the"Registration" tab on our website.
